Responsibilities and competencies
The Agency is responsible for the adequate implementation of the Public Procurement Law of BiH.
Competencies of the Agency must include:
Preparation and drafting of regulations in the field of public procurement
Improving the awareness of contracting authorities and bidders
Publishing of manuals, guidelines, standard forms and models
Providing technical assistance and advisory opinions
Establishing the system for monitoring the implementation of procedures
Collecting data, analysing, and publishing of information regarding public procurement procedures
Developing and establishing electronic information systems in BiH
Launching, supporting, and creating prerequisites for electronic public procurement
Organizing and maintaining training for authorized lecturers and officers
Monitoring the work of authorized lecturers and keeping records on accredited lecturers
Monitoring EU regulations in this field
Preparing of annual reports for the Council of Ministers of BiH
