Prepares and drafts regulations in the field of public procurement;
Provides technical and advisory assistance;
Develops and establishes a service for electronic public procurement;
Works to improve the information about contracting authorities and suppliers;
Creates and publishes manuals, instructions and models of tender documentation;
Follows the implementation of laws by contracting authorities;
Prepares analysis, reports and publishes information regarding public procurement procedures;
Publishes information on training in the field of public procurement;
Keeps record of lecturers in the area of public procurement;
Follows EU regulations in this area;
Submits annual reports to the Council of Ministers of BiH.
Adoption of the Law on Public Procurement;
Resolving on appeal (jurisdiction of the Office for review of appeals of BiH) and resolving administrative disputes;
Sanctioning irregularities and canceling procedures in the public procurement process.
